Yvonne
Marie Glass, National Vice President, College Chapters, is an initiate
of Delta Phi Chapter at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania where she
earned her B.M. in Music Therapy. Her Music Therapy career has primarily
been in the field of mental health, where she currently works on a memory
disorders program with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. In addition,
she also maintains a private piano studio in her home.
Service to the fraternity includes serving as treasurer and president
of her college chapter, and president, editor, and composition contest
chairperson for the Nashville Alumnae Chapter. She also served as an
advisor to the Epsilon Lambda chapter. As Psi B Province Officer from
1994-2000, she assisted in the installation of both Theta Mu and Iota
Phi chapters. Since 1997 she has served as the Music Therapy Project
Director for SAI Philanthropies, Inc. Fraternity Honors include the
College Leadership Award, Sword of Honor, Rose of Honor, and Ring of Excellence. She presented "The
Three R's of Chapter Membership" workshop and entertained on piano for
the Welcome Luncheon at the Dallas Convention.
In addition to SAI activities, Yvonne is past president and member of
the Tennessee Association for Music Therapy, works as a volunteer blood
donor recruiter for the American Red Cross, and maintains membership
in Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. She is a member of Phi Sigma
Pi National Honor Fraternity and has been Accepted into "Who's Who in
American Colleges and Universities".
Yvonne lives in Chapmansboro, TN, with her daughter, Amelia.
