- A Day in the City, "7 Vignettes" These colorful musical
scenes from the city may be played individually or in smaller
groupings. (The movements are each about 1 1/2 minutes in
duration, the total duration of the composition is 10 minutes.)
Each vignette is given a title which depicts an occurrence
that might happen during the day such as "Lost Key Episode",
"The Waitin' in Line Blues", and "Sudden Storm".
