Eugenie R. Rocherolle lives in Wilton, CT. In 1999, she
was featured composer/clinician at the MTNA Publishers
Showcase, Mar. 21 in Los Angeles; and at the Pikes Peak
MTA, May 15 in Colorado Springs, CO. Her piano solo

Rumores Hispanicos won third place in the 1998 National
League of American Pen Women Biennial Music Contest. She
received a 1999-2000 ASCAP Standard Award.

To celebrate the group's 50th anniversary, the Darien
(CT) Community Association Duo-Piano Group commissioned
and introduced
The Way We Danced -- Suite for Two Pianos,
May 2, 1999.
Performances
Sonata No. 2 had performances in Pittsburgh with
Kenneth L. Burky, chair of the Duquesne Univ. piano department,
at Duquesne Univ., Dec. 6, 1998, and at The Steinway Society
of Western Pennsylvania, Feb. 8, 1999. Rocherolle played
selections from
Romancing in Style, for piano,
Mar. 2, 1999 at the Hoff-Barthelson School of Music, in
Scarsdale, NY. At the Wilton (CT) Kiwanis Holiday concert,
Mary Bozzuti Higgins, soprano, and Rocherolle, piano,
presented
Christmas Lullaby; and the Wilton High
School Madrigal Singers, accompanied by Kimberly Condron,
sang
A Christmas Madrigal and
Baby Boy,
