Premieres
On May 23, 1999, on the closing concert
of the International Horn Society's annual Symposium,
the premiere of Divertimento for Horn Quartet
took place at the University of Georgia, with Andrei
Gloukhov, Joy Hodges, Peter Kurau, and Virginia Thompson.
Performances
The second movement of Stewart's Concerto
for Clarinet, arranged for clarinet, piano, and
percussion, was performed on a program of the Southeastern
Composers' League's 1999 Annual Conference at Mississippi
State Univ., with Gail Levinsky, clarinet; Leanne Fazio,
piano; and Robert Damm, mallet percussion.
