Jere Hutcheson
Jere Hutcheson works at the Michigan State Univ. School
of Music, in East Lansing. A Jealous Thorn has produced
a set of 17 CD's summarizing the composer's work over
the past 35 years.
Premieres
On their winter and spring 2000 tour concerts, Thaddeus
and Susan Brys gave the first performances of
Glosses,
Annotations, and an Exegis Upon a Theme of Pietro Locatelli,
commissioned by Thaddeus Brys, for cello and piano. The
violin version of the same work premiered at a Michigan
State Univ. New Music Ensemble program, Nov. 22, 1999,
with violinist Walter Verdehr and pianist Dai Uk Lee.
