performance, with Andrew Scholberg and Dennis Zimmer at
St. John's Lutheran Church, Forest Park, IL. Heard first
at Grace Lutheran Church, in River Forest, IL, under director
John Folkening, were
Image of the Unseen God, an
anthem for SATB choir and organ, Nov. 22, 1998; and
Festival
Psalm (Sing to the Lord a New Song), Sept. 12, 1999.
Performances
Seven Psalms of Grace, for baritone solo, children's
choir, SATB choir, and orchestra, had a performance at
Wheaton (IL) Coll. Church, with baritone Douglas Anderson
and director Chuck King. The Chicago Choral Artists, directed
by Bart Bradfield, gave a program, "Choral Works by Renowned
Chicago Composers," Mar. 6-7, 1999, in Oak Park and Chicago,
IL, featuring
Alleluia! Voices Raise!, for SATB
choir and organ; and
Surely He Has Borne Our Griefs
and
Bless the Lord, O My Soul, both for SATB a
cappella choir. At St. John's Lutheran Church, in Forest
Park, The Paul Lindblad Choristers, led by Lindblad, presented
The Lord in my Light and my Salvation, for unison
choir, trumpet, and organ, Mar. 13, 1999.
