University Professor at Ouachita Univ., in Arkadelphia,
AR.
Premieres
The U.S. Army Band, under Col. Bryan
Shelburne, premiered The Lions of North Bridge
July 26, 1999 at the Texas Bandmasters Convention, in
San Antonio, followed by a performance on the White
House Elipse, Aug. 17, 1999.
Performances
At the American Bandmasters Convention,
held in Cocoa Beach, FL, the Tara Winds played Lauds
and Tropes. The Little Rock (AR) Wind Symphony's
1999 schedule included When Honor Whispers and Shouts,
in Arkadelphia, Apr. 18, and in Little Rock, July 30.
The Alabama All-State Band presented Of Sailors and
Whales, Apr. 10, 1999 in Auburn. In Jan. 2000, Through
Countless Halls of Air was heard with the Georgia
Intercollegiate Band in Savannah. All performances were
conducted by the composer.
