SAI National Arts Associate Allan Blank's
Three for
Two, for clarinet and piano, premiered Sept. 6, 2000
with David Niethamer and Joanne Kong at the University
of Richmond. On Apr. 28, 2000, Shelley Binder and Fay
Adams introduced
Playtime, for flute and piano,
at the University of Tennessee.
Duo for Two Flutes
was played first Apr. 26, 2000 with Binder and Jill Waguespeck
at the First Presbyterian Church, in Knoxville, TN. Stanley
Hoffman and Eddy Kronengold are scheduled to present
Sonata
for Violin and Piano Mar. 9, 2001 at the Third Street
Music Settlement House, in New York, NY. On a Florida
State University program, Feb. 12, 2000 in Tallahassee,
Binder gave the first performance of
Ariel, for
solo piccolo.
