Arthur Frackenpohl
Arthur Frackenpohl is Professor Emeritus of the SUNY College
at Potsdam Crane School of Music. The Carolina Brass has
given him a commission for a new work,
Piedmont Suite.
Premieres
At a program in Clintonville, NY, the Au Sable Valley
Central School Wind Ensemble, led by Scott Hopkins, introduced
Au Sable Valley Suite, May 31, 2000.
Performances
Michael Moore led the Emory University Brass Ensemble
in Frackenpohl's
Double Quintet Fanfare, Nov. 17,
1999 in Atlanta, GA. The West Elgin Choral Society, directed
by Wayne Carroll, sang the Christmas cantata

This Day, Dec. 1, 1999 in West Lorne, Ontario, Canada.
On Dec. 11, 1999, the Sherbourne (NY) Community Chorus
and Orchestra, Wilbur Raville, Director, performed
Te
Deum. An Interlochen (MI) Arts Camp Intermediate Concert
Orchestra program included
Prelude and Polka, conducted
by Lisa Foerster, July 7, 2000. On Oct. 22, 2000 the Gamma
Delta chapter gave a program of the composer's instrumental
and choral music at SUNY College at Potsdam.
