No. 10 was introduced by the Seattle Symphony, Gerard
Schwarz conducting, July 1, 2000. Pianist Gilbert Kalish
and the Ying Quartet gave the first performance of
Quintet
No. 2, in Rainey Auditorium, New York, NY.
Performances
In honor of his 85th birthday, in 2000, concerts of his
works occurred in New York, NY, with the Polish Trio,
from Warsaw, Oct. 7; and at Avery Fisher Hall, with the
Juilliard Orchestra, under Gerard Schwarz, Oct. 17.
