Annual American Composers Update
Eugénie R. Rocherolle
Eugénie R. Rocherolle took part
in the Warner Brothers Publisher's Showcase at the MTNA
Convention in Mar. 2000, in Minneapolis, where she performed
selections from a new piano solo collection, Touch
of Blue. She spent a month over the summer traveling
the United States and Canada on a workshop tour for
Warner Brothers. On Oct. 23, 2000, she presented several
new publications on the Warner Brothers Publisher's
Showcase at the World Piano Pedagogy Conference in Las
Vegas. As guest clinician at the Athena 2001 Festival
at Murray (KY) State University, she will participate
on Feb. 28 in the Meet the Composer program with public
school children from Murray city and county schools
who will perform her choral works. On Mar. 1, she will
have a session with piano teachers and a master class
with students. She has received a 2000-01 ASCAP Standard
Award.

program, Jan. 9, 2000 in Stamford, CT.
Performances
On a Wilton (CT) Arts Council Program,
May 9, 2000, Moira Craw and Rocherolle performed Vignette,
for flute and piano. The Schubert Club Duo Piano Group
played The Way we Danced, a suite for two pianos,
Nov. 5, 2000 in Stamford, CT.
