Jackson Hill is Presidential Professor of Music at Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, PA.

Premieres

On July 30, 2000 in Wilkes Barre, PA, the Royal School of Church Music King's College Course, Gerre Hancock, director, introduced How Shall the Young, for SATB choir and organ, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.

Performances

A Tanglewood Music Festival program, July 7, 1999 at Seiji Ozawa Hall, in Lennox, MA, featured Voices of Autumn, with Chanticleer, directed by Joseph Jennings. Performances of Tango-no-Tango, for piano, occurred on a national broadcast over Radio Canada, with Louise Bessette, Dec. 11, 1999; and at Towson (MD) University Arts Concert Hall, with Nannette Shannon, Feb. 13, 2000. On Apr. 19, 2000 in New York, NY, Three Motets was sung by the Choir of Corpus Christi Church, Louise Basbas, director. John Hurd led the Choir of St. Columba's Episcopal Church in Tristis est anima mea, Apr. 21, 2000 in Washington, DC.
