Raymond Songayllo
Premieres
Raymond Songayllo's Sonata for Viola
and Piano received its first performance, Oct. 13,
2000, with members of the University of Iowa Center
for New Music Ensemble, in Iowa City.
Performances
Songayllo has played Ballade-Sonata,
for piano, at the Iowa Composers' concert at the First
Congregational Church in Waterloo, IA, Feb 27; for the
College Music Society Great Plains Chapter, held at
the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Mar. 24; and
on an Iowa composers' concert sponsored by the Beethoven
Club of Cedar Rapids, IA, held at Coe College.
