Shirley W. McRae's arrangement of
Bwana Awabariki (a Swahili folk hymn) premiered
with the Festival Women's Choir, led by Rodney Rothlisberger,
at Moorhead State University, Oct. 19, 1999.
Performances
On June 24, 2000 at Butler University,
the Indianapolis Children's Choir sang Carol of
Creation. Eileen Finley led the Pennsylvania Youth
Chorale in Old Dan Tucker, July 1, 1999 in
Ontario, CA. The GMEA Honor Chorus performed Goin'
to Boston in Atlanta, Oct. 7, 1999, with the composer
conducting.
