Performances
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, by Donna Kelly Eastman, was on an April 9, 2000, program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with the Eastwind Quintet. Our Friends at the Animal Fair (poems by former U.S. Poet Laureate William Jay Smith), nine humorous animal songs, were performed by soprano Lee Beaudoin and pianist Mary Beth Beck at the Sumner School Museum, in Washington, DC, and for the SAI annual Scholarship Winners Concert by Beth Kluegel with the composer at the piano. At Strathmore Hall, in Rockville, MD, Beaudoin and Linda Eagleson presented Just Us, for mezzo-soprano and flute. Carlton McCreery conducted the Huxford Symphony Orchestra at the University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, in Au Lever du Soleil, April 5, 2001.
