James R. Hanna
SAI National Arts Associate James R. Hanna has completed
For Charlie, in memory of Charles Fuller, cellist,
for solo violin, during the past year. Downs,
for string orchestra, has been recorded by strings from
the Milwaukee Symphony, conducted by Henri Pensis.
Premieres
On April 2 and 7, 2000, pianist Geraldine Hubble gave
the first performances of Passacaglia and Gigue,
in Lafayette, LA.
