Annual American Composers Update
A. Oscar Haügland
A. Oscar Haügland currently is working on a wedding
processional for one of his children, a sonata for cello
for his son James, and a gigue for piano for his grandson
Anders.
Premieres
Door County Suite, for piano, was presented
by William Goldenberg at Northern Illinois University,
in DeKalb, March 26, 2001.
Performances
On March 30, 2001, in Tampa, Nocturne, for strings,
was presented by the Florida Orchestra, Thomas Wilkins
conducting. Organist Randy Stubbs performed Vater
Unser im Himmelen at the First Lutheran Church,
in DeKalb, July 29, 2001.
