Rocherolle's Rhapsody, for piano, second place at the group's National Mid-Administration Congress, October 2001; and Trois Préludes, for piano, honorable mention in its National Biennenial Music Competition, in San Francisco, April 2002.She received an ASCAP Standard Award for 2002-03. In 2002, she served as guest composer/clinician at the Piano Pedagogy Workshop at Bowling Green (OH) State University, June 24-27, and at the Vermont State Music Teachers Convention, held at the University of Vermont, October 12. She presented her new Warner Brothers Publishers publications, including her arrangements of With Praise and Thanks, for piano, and April in Paris and Blues Concerto in C, both for two piano, four hands, at the publisher's Showcase at the World Piano Pedagogy Conference, October 31, 2002, in Las Vegas. The Duo Piano Group of the Darien (CT) Community Association commissioned the April in Paris arrangement for an April 28, 2002, premiere. PremieresWritten for the Wilton (CT) Bicentennial Concert, An American Rhapsody, for piano, violin, and cello, had its first performances in 2002, with the Errante/Cho Trio at St. Matthew's Church in Wilton, May 18; and at the Northeast Kansas Music Teachers American Music Festival, in Topeka, November 23. PerformancesA Music for Piano by American Women Composers program featured Sonatina No. 1 and Rocherolle's duet collections Touch of Blue and Headin' South, with John B. and Anne Marie Egan, November 26, 2001, at St. Joseph's College, in Rensselaer, IN. Waltz for Two Pianos was heard at Saddleback College, in Mission Viejo, CA, December 6, 2001. On January 15, 2002, at Ford's Colony Theater Club, in Williamsburg, VA, the Chanterelle Trio played A Tableau of Piano Trios. Vignette, for flute and piano, received a performance at a Schubert Club Workshop, January 23, 2002, at the Greenwich (CT) Library.
