Jonathan Elkus

Jonathan Elkus was awarded the Edwin Franko Goldman Memorial Citation from the American Bandmasters Association, in recognition for significant contributions to bands and band music in America, specifically for Ives scholarship and transcriptions, and for his ongoing association with the Goldman Band.  The US Marine Band USMB-CD-17 recording includes his concert-band transcription of Ives's Second Symphony, movements 4 and 5, Col. Timothy W. Foley conducting.
