Ruth Brush*

Ruth Brush has had a request for her compositions from the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris (France).  She is active in the Musical Research Society in Bartlesville, OK and in the Hyechka Music Club in Tulsa, OK.  As Oklahoma Musician of the Year, she is presenting programs throughout the state, including one during National Music Week, in May.

Premieres

Singer Leslie Wilson presented The Bird with a Broken Wing, November 2002 on a Parade of American Music program in Bartlesville.

Performances

The Christian Church Choir in Fairfax, OK sang This Same Jesus.  In Kansas City, the Central Avenue Methodist Church has been using the composer's The Lord is My Shepherd.
