The 2004 American Composers Updateas published in PAN PIPES, Volume 96, Number 2 Charles Roland BerryPremieresOlympic Mountains Overture and Quileute Overture for Cello and Orchestra were first performed in June 2003 by the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Joel Eric Suben, in Olomouc, the Czech Republic. The cello soloist for Quileute was Gabriel Faur of Vienna, Austria. PerformancesPerformances and recordings of Symphony No. 3 (Celestial) and Cello Concerto are scheduled for 2004 with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, Joel Eric Suben, conductor. The cello soloist will be Walter Gray of the Seattle (WA) Symphony.
