Jonathan Elkus

Recently retired from the music faculty of the University of California, Davis, Elkus continues to manage Overland Music Distributors, a publishing group that he formed in 1984. He also continues as an editor of the Charles Ives Society's critical editions of the complete works and to transcribe works of Ives for the U.S. Marine Band. In October 2002, Elkus was presented with the Edwin Franko Goldman Memorial Citation of the American Bandmasters Association in recognition of his contribution to bands and band music in America.
