Robert Ceely

In May 2004, Robert Ceely will complete thirty-eight years of teaching at the New England Conservatory of Music. He and his wife will divide their time between Brookline, MA, and Blue Hill, ME, as well as points south and west. Hopefully, the new year will see the completion of his second opera, Sky Thoughts. His music is published by American Composers Alliance, Association for the Publication of New Music, and BEEP Press. Premieres

The following works are scheduled to be presented February 3, 2004, on a Composers' Series program in Jordan Hall, Boston (MA): Five Contemplative Pieces for Mixed Chorus; Canons for alto flute, clarinet, and bassoon; Three Songs for Baritone and Piano; Three Pieces for String Quartet; Epithalimium for Piano.
