as published in PAN PIPES, Volume 96, Number 2

Robert Jager

The United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps of Washington, D.C., is utilizing Robert Jager's Esprit de Corps in a new public service announcement for the promotion of their music performance events throughout the country.

Premieres

In Sunshine and Shadow, for soprano, baritone, chorus, and wind ensemble, was introduced in performances during April 2003 at Wright State University and the University of Dayton (OH), with soprano Kimberly Warrick, baritone Thomas Payne, and the composer conducting. In June, the same work was performed by a combined children's chorus of 300, and the Oregon Mozart Players under the direction of Sandra Snow; and also at the Gala Concert of the Pacific International Children's Choir Festival, a part of the Oregon Bach Festival, on June 30.
