Premieres

Christ the Lord is Risen, for mixed choir and organ, was introduced Easter Sunday, 2002, by the Bethesda (MD) Presbyterian Church Choir, conducted by Leanna McQueen. Falling Snow and Street Scenes (from The Homeless Child Suite) were presented by Michael Bowyer, flute; John Kaboff, cello; and Alfred Clark, piano; February 14, 2003, Charles Sumner School Museum, Washington, D.C.

Performances

Soprano Marge Palmieri and pianist Stephen Brown performed the song cycle, Song of Endless Sorrow, November 22, 2002, in Strathmore Hall, MD. Selection of Chinese Songs for soprano, flute, erhu, and yangchin, received multiple performances by soprano Mira Yang: April 12, 2002, Korean Embassy, Washington D.C.; April 26, 2003, Strathmore Hall, MD; and May 12, Kennedy Center, Washington D.C. Kapalua was presented June 29, by Lisa Munsun, flute, and George Peachey, piano; Catholic University, Washington, D.C.
