Premieres

Two Strains for handbell choir was presented January 31, 2004, by the Arkansas State University Ringers, conducted by Ellis Julien. Duo for cello and piano was introduced February 22 by Garfield Moore and Stephanie Watt in a New York, NY, performance. The Adesso Choral Society, under the direction of Margaret Collins Stoop, performed Three Airs on anonymous 17th century verses for treble voices and piano on June 12 in Danbury, CT.

Performances

Two Songs of William Blake received performances from Louise Lawson and Sharon Abner on June 29, 2003, in Washington, CT; and from Nancy Ellen Ogle and Ginger Yang Hwalek on September 13, in Orono, ME. Trio for violin, viola, and cello, was presented December 16 by Jonathan Weber, Earl Manein, and George Dewar, in New York, NY. Guitarists Frank Hendrix, Justin Dugger, Jay Shepherd, and Timothy Crist performed Digressions for guitar quartet on January 29, 2004, at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro. Variations on an American Folksong for piano was heard in a performance by the composer on May 16 in Weston, CT. Organist David Hatt performed Five Praeludia on July 18, in San Francisco, CA.
