PerformancesThe Persistence of Memory (In Memoriam: Brian Israel) was heard November 11, 2003, in a performance by the SUNY-Potsdam Crane Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Timothy Topolewski. Ancient Evenings and Distant Music was presented February 22, 2004, by the Bakersfield (CA) Symphony and April 10 by the Solaris Wind Quintet at the New American Arts Festival, University of Akron (OH). Cellist Heidi Albert and pianist Pamela Yarnell performed Variations for Cello and Piano February 29 for a Cleveland Composers Guild concert at Plymouth Church, Tremont, OH. Celebration and Reflection was performed April 10 by the Paragon Brass Quintet at the New American Arts Festival, University of Akron (OH).
