Lauren Bernofsky

Lauren Bernofsky has just completed the film score for Partita, directed by Mathew Bainbridge, which will be screened in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas through the New York Independent Film Festival. Premieres

Rainstorm was introduced by pianist Leah Foster on April 4, 2004, at the Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young, Rivers Music School, Weston, MA. The University of Southern Maine Trombone Choir, conducted by Brian Diehl, presented Passacaglia on April 8, at the University of Southern Maine, Gorham. Fantasia and Scherzo, was performed December 10 by the Howard Community College Cello Ensemble, led by Benjamin Myers, Columbia, MD.

Performances

The Tiger was presented February 21, 2004, by the Smith College Chorus Chamber Choir, directed by Pamela Getnick, at the ACDA Collegiate Choral Festival, Regis College, Weston, MA. Trumpet Concerto was heard March 30 in a performance given by Dan Gianola-Norris and pianist Clinton Adams, Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore, MD. The Howard Community College Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Benjamin Myers, presented Larghetto on May 13. Cloud Nine was performed May 18 by the Catonsville (MD) High School Concert Band, under the direction of James Wharton. Five Songs on Poems of Robert Herrick was heard in a March 20 concert given by the Schoeneberger Kammer Orchester, under the direction of Sabine Wuesthoff, with soprano Rosemarie Arzt, in Grunewaldkirche, Berlin, Germany.
