Marilyn J. Ziffrin*

Marilyn J. Ziffrin was nominated for the New Hampshire Governor’s Award in the Arts in October 2003. She was a guest lecturer on women composers on May 4, 2004, at New England College, Henniker, NH. Ziffrin was also the subject of a paper written by a fifth grade student in the Moline, IL public schools.

Performances

Suite for Piano was presented by pianist Max Lifchitz on May 17, 2004, on a North/South Consonance concert at Christ and St. Stephen’s Church, New York, NY. Pianists Malinda Schantz and Marti Berman performed the duet Yankee Hooray on May 27 at the Schantz Piano Studio in Lexington, MA. Moods was performed by pianist Mary Wirth on July 15 at the Jayne Kelly Studio, in Hillsborough Center, NH.
