Susan Cohn Lackman

Susan Cohn Lackman has been named President of the Board of Trustees of the Orlando-based Festival of Orchestras, an organization that presents concerts by visiting international orchestras. She is currently serving as Office Manager of the International Alliance for Women in Music (IAWM); she was Treasurer of the IAWM through June 2004. Premieres

Reflections, for brass quintet, was first heard during April 2004 in Winter Park, FL.

Performances

Variations on ‘Minka’, for piano solo, was performed in March 2004, in Beijing, China. During June, two pieces were heard in The Czech Republic, Festive Overture for orchestra and Waltzes for Small Orchestra (Symphony No. 1). Star Ferry, for two pianos, four hands, was performed in Texas in July.
