The 2006 American Composers Updateas published in PAN PIPES, Volume 98, Number 2 John Corina Premieres This Endris Night for SATB chorus and flute received its premiere on December 24, 2004, in a performance by St. Stephen’s Anglican Catholic Church Choir, under the direction of organist/choirmaster William Coscarelli, in Athens, GA. Performances Divertimento for Oboe and Bassoon was presented by Dwight Manning and William Davis on March 11, 2005, for the Southeastern Composers League Forum, Louisiana Tech University, Ruston. Dr. Richard Bell conducted the Junior Orchestra in a performance of Modal Suite for String Orchestra on June 10 at the 2005 Summer Music Camp, University of Georgia, Athens. Partita for alto saxophone and piano was performed October 3 by Dr. Kenneth Fischer and Martha Thomas, at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, University of Georgia, Athens. Soprano Ellen Ritchey, oboist Dwight Manning, and pianist Jolene Davis presented Three Soliloquies of Shakespeare on October 24 at the Hodgson School of Music. Further Information |
