Joyce Grill*

Joyce Grill presented her new publications at the Warner Brothers Showcase at the Music Teachers National Association Convention, April 2-6, 2005, in Seattle, WA. She presented and performed her compositions at piano teacher workshops throughout the U.S. in July and August, and at eight workshops in Korea in September. As the featured composer, her duets were performed at the Viterbo University (La Crosse, WI) Four Hand Fest in April. She was also the conductor for a “monster concert” at the festival. In October and November, she presented composition workshops in Hudson and Madison, WI, performing several of her own compositions. Because of the sale of the Warner Brothers catalog to Alfred Publishing, she will now be published by the Alfred Publishing Co., Inc.

Premieres

The piano duet Joyeuse was premiered by members of the Viterbo University Piano Faculty in April 2005.
