The 2006 American Composers Updateas published in PAN PIPES, Volume 98, Number 2 Paul A. Siskind Performances Tantarara was presented in January 2005 by the Syracuse (NY) Symphony Youth Orchestra. The Perilous Adventures of Comet the Wonderdog was presented in February for Society of Composers conferences in San Antonio, TX, and again in October in Greensboro NC. The Quire performed Everyone Suddenly Burst Out Singing in May, Iowa City, IA. Bright Morning Stars Are Rising was heard in June performances by the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus on its European tour. Delusions of Grandeur was performed in October at The College Music Society Conference, Quebec City, Canada. Recordings Bright Morning Stars Are Rising was released on private-issue recordings by the Motet Singers and by One Voice Mixed Chorus. Further Information |
