Premieres

Air and Dance was commissioned by the Houston (TX) Symphonic Band and premiered by the ensemble in Houston, May 2005, with the composer conducting; the same group also performed the work for the Texas Bandmasters Convention in July.

Performances

Beowulf, They Hung Their Harps in the Willows, and The Coventry were performed in April 2005 by musicians from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. The Little Rock (AR) Wind Symphony presented Grace Praeludium in July, and Laud and Tropes was performed in August for the New York State School Music Association State Convention in Buffalo, NY.
