Edmund Cionek was chosen “Faculty Member of the Year” for 2006 at the Purchase (NY) College School of Liberal Studies.

Premieres

Fanfare for Francis, a brass quintet commissioned by the Bar Harbor (ME) Music Festival in celebration of the festival’s 40th season, was introduced on July 12, 2006, by Brass Venture. The Accidentals premiered I Stand with You, for a cappella SATB chorus (after Walt Whitman), at Makor in New York City.
