Robert Ceely

Robert Ceely’s music is published by American Composers Alliance, Association for the Promotion of New Music, and Ceelymusic. Consult the appropriate website to obtain titles and prices. Ceelymusic has a Ceely Sampler CD, which includes excerpts from performances of many of his compositions. Current projects include two operas in progress: The Mortal Immortal with libretto by Elisabeth K. Gatineau, freely adapted from a short story by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, and Star Thoughts, a three act multi-media work with libretto also by Gatineau. Recordings

Three Satires for Orchestra was included on the album Masterworks of the New Era, recorded by the Kiev Philharmonic for ERMedia. A Beep 2002 CD contains the following works: Modules, for septet; Extensions, for solo piano (Shen Wen); Post hoc, ergo propter hoc, for solo bass clarinet (Beth Wiemann); Time Shares, for percussion ensemble; Five Contemplative Pieces, for mixed chorus SATB; Whitman, five songs for soprano and piano, after Walt Whitman (Jen Ashe and Wen); and Three Songs, for baritone and piano (Brian Church and Wen).
