Premieres

Scurry, for solo clarinet, was introduced on January 13, 2006 by Lynn Musco at Stetson University, Deland, FL; Musco gave a repeat performance at Stetson University on January 29. Cellist David Bjella presented the premiere of Trance on January 29, also at Stetson University.

Performances

Crown, for four trumpets (performed by M. Sunderland, C Schroeder, J. Grossnicklaus, M. Sparts); Tsatskes, for oboe, clarinet, and bassoon (A. Adams, L. Musco, and A. Heintzen); and Roethke Lieder Book I (performed by tenor Stephen Ng and pianist Michael Rickman) were all heard in a January 29 concert at Stetson University, Deland, FL. Bobby Adams led the Stetson Symphonic Band in a performance of Cortege: Dirge-Canons for Band, on April 8 at Stetson University. Monumentum Pro Umbris, for wind ensemble was heard in concert on April 11, in a performance by the University of Maryland Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by the composer at Dekelboum Concert Hall, College Park, MD. Clarinetist J. Valdepenas, violinist I.S. Jang, and cellist J. Roman presented Rogatio gravis on August 5, at the Aspen (CO) Festival.
