Forest of the World (lyrics
by the composer), a musical for children's choir, at the
California State University Theater.
Performances
An Orkney Cycle (poems by George Mackay Brown)
was heard at California State University, Mar. 2, 1997,
with Claudia Kitka, soprano; Deborah Pittman, clarinet;
Joy Davis, English horn; and John Fuller, harp. In 1997
pianist Richard Cionco played
Fantasy-Mosaic in
Placerville, CA (Mar. 23) and in Kolding, Denmark (Apr.
5). A Chicago Cultural Center program included Natsuki
Fukasawa, pianist, in
Petite Valse, Oct. 1, 1997.
