In 1997 David Kirby played Stewart's
Clarinet Concerto (1994), arranged for clarinet,
piano, and percussion, with Palmer and Dianne Cash,
at the Brevard Music Center (July 10), and at Isothermal
Junior College, Tryon, NC (Oct. 3).
