were sung first by the St. Peter's Chamber Choir, under
Martha Johnson, at the Episcopal National Convention,
held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, in Philadelphia,
July 19, 1997. On Nov. 16, 1997, the St. James Episcopal
Church Bicentennial Celebration, in Muncy, PA, included
Praise, O Praise the Lord, for SATB choir and organ.
On Aug. 19, 1997, Canterbury (UK) Cathedral was the site
of the premiere of
Psalm 98, with the Choir of
Cathedral of the Advent, Birmingham, AL, Thomas Gibbs,
director.
Performances
On the same performance, Gibbs led the Cathedral of the
Advent choir in
Magnificat and
Nunc Dimittis.
The choir of Corpus Christi Church, New York, NY, led
by Louise Basbas, sang
Hodie Christus Natus Est,
Dec. 25, 1996, and
