Richard Swift lives in Davis, CA. His article, "Schoenberg's Second Chamber Symphony," was published as part of "A Birthday Offering for George Perle," in the International Journal of Musicology, Vol. 4. On Nov. 13, 1997, he presented a lecture, "Learning and Discovery," at the University of California, Davis.

Jerome Kuderna performed Stravaganza XI at the University of California, Davis, May 1997. On Nov. 14, 1997, a University of California, Davis 70th-birthday concert with Robert Bloch, violin; Jerome Rosen, clarinet; and Kuderna, piano, featured Stravaganzas I, II, IX, and XI, and some versions of Paraphrase.
