Premieres

George conducted Samantha George and the Quincy (IL) Symphony Orchestra in the premiere of Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, CN 351 (1997), Oct. 11, 1997.

Performances

On Apr. 18, 1997, Jennifer Hillam soloed with the Ricks College Band, conducted by Kendell Neilsen, in George's Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, in Rexburg, ID. A Magic Valley Symphony program, May 2, 1997, led by Theodore Hadley, included Mark Neiwirth in Concerto No. 3 for Piano and Orchestra, CN 347 (1995). As part of the Pocatello (ID) Flute Week, at Idaho State University, Adah Toland Mosello and Patricia George played Duet for Two Flutes ("Patadah"), CN 239 (1967), June 12, 1997. Ed Owen and Ouida Keck performed Sonata for Tuba and Piano at Ouachita Baptist University, Arkadelphia, AR, Apr. 10, 1997.
