Arthur Frackenpohl is Professor Emeritus of the SUNY College
at Potsdam Crane School of Music. In May 1999, soprano
Susan Ball is scheduled to premiere
Two Songs for Soprano
and Organ in Basel, Switzerland.
Premieres
Sonata for Clarinet and Piano had its premiere
at a graduate recital at The Ohio State University, in
Columbus, May 20, 1997. Choruses and instrumentalists
from five area high schools joined to present
We the
People for Chorus, Brass, and Percussion in Syracuse,
NY, Nov. 18. 1997. At the International Tuba-Euphonium
Conference, at the University of Minnesota, June 27, 1998,
Ronald Davis gave the first performance of
Five Sketches
for Solo Tuba.

The Florida Brass Quintet played

in Sarasota, FL, Feb. 8, 1998. On Apr. 16, 1998, the William
Paterson University Saxophone Ensemble gave a performance
of
Sax Lix in Wayne, NJ. A SUNY College at Potsdam
Crane School of Music faculty recital included

and Allegro, July 14, 1998. A New England Music Camp
faculty recital presented
Sonatina for Clarinet and
Piano, July 15, 1998 in Oakland, ME. Along with the
Sarasota (FL) Concert Band, Fernanco Traba soloed in
Concerto
for Bassoon and Band, Nov. 29, 1998.
