Anthony Iannaccone
Anthony Iannaccone serves as Professor at Eastern Michigan
University. He conducted the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic
and the Bavarian Festival Orchestra in recordings of works
by five American composers. In the Sept./Oct. 1998 issues
of
Fanfare magazine and the
American Record
Guide, his
Sea Drift recording received positive
reviews.
Premieres
Under the baton of Yoshimi Takeda, the Kalamazoo (MI)
Symphony Orchestra introduced
West End Express,
in 1998. Also in 1998, Iannaccone conducted the Bavarian
Festival Orchestra, of Munich, Germany, in the premiere
of
Waiting for Sunrise on the Sound, and led the
Plymouth (MI) Symphony Orchestra in the first performance
of
Recollections.
