John Anthony Lennon
John Anthony Lennon is on the faculty of Emory University,
in Atlanta, GA. For the 1998 spring term, he was visiting
composer and professor at Northwestern University.

Distances Within Me, for saxophone,
occurred at Bowling Green State University (Apr.), at
the Grand Teton (WY) Music Festival (June), at Michigan
State University (Sept.), and at Northwestern University
(Oct.). In 1998, Lennon's guitar work
Sonatina
was heard at the 80 Festival Internacional de Guitarra,
in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico (Apr.); at California State
University at Long Beach (summer 1998); and at the Concertgebouw,
in Amsterdam (Dec.).
