the North Texas Wind Symphony in a recording of
Caricatures
for the Klavier Wind label.
Premieres
During the winter and spring of 1999,
More Caricatures,
for wind symphony, the product of a consortium commision,
is being given its first performances by wind ensembles
at Arizona State University (Richard E. Strange), Florida
State University (James Croft), the University of Illinois
(James F. Keene), Indiana University (Ray E. Cramer),
Louisiana State University(Frank B. Wickes), the University
of Miami (Gary Green), Michigan State University (John
Whitwell), the University of North Texas (Corporon), and
the University of Texas (Jerry Junkin).
