Karl Kohn

Karl Kohn lives in Claremont, CA.

Premieres

As part of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra chamber series, Tim Paradise and Kohn presented More Reflections, for clarinet and piano. The Festival of Austrian Music of the 20th Century, in Lisbon, featured Ensemble Wiener Collage in the first performance of Capriccio, for violin, alto and soprano saxophones, and piano. At a program at the Brucknerhaus, in Linz, Austria, Toccata and Virelais, for accordion and harp, premiered with A. Melichar and F. Meier.

Performances

Kohn's organ work Neofantasy was played by William Peterson, in Claremont, and by Lawrence Archbold, at St. Thomas Church, in New York, NY. Also heard in Claremont was Soliloquy II, with cellist Tom Flaherty. Karl and Margaret Kohn performed Allegro and Adagio for Dancing, for two pianos, in Los Angeles.
