Norman Heim
Professor Emeritus from the University of Maryland, Norman
Heim works at home as a composer, arranger, and author.
Mel Bay Publications has released two of his books:
Romantic
Period Pieces for Clarinet and
Clarinet Music from
the Impressionistic Period. Recently, he completed
Overture "Orlando", for the Orlando clarinet choir,
Rick Kissinger, director; and
Sinfonietta, for
clarinet quintet, for the Christensen Family of Friderickshaven,
Germany. He received the Presidential award from Shenandoah
University, in Winchester, VA, where his clarinet library
now is located.
