Premieres

At the Grace Lutheran Church Founders' Day concert, Feb. 1, 1998, in River Forest, IL, Douglas Anderson soloed in the premiere of Seven Psalms of Grace, for baritone solo, children's choir, SATB choir, and orchestra. On Mar. 8, 1998 at the same church, The Lord is My Light and My Salvation, for choir, trumpet, and organ, was introduced. You Are the Light of the World, for choir, oboe, and organ, had its first performance at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Fort Wayne, IN, May 15, 1998. World Library Publications has released his arrangement of the Polish carol O Come Rejoicing.

Performances

: Under the direction of organist Luc Ponet, a concert of Hillert's choral and instrumental music was presented at the Basilica of Tongeren, Belgium, Dec. 21, 1997.
